The trend of the Youtube lyrics videos has continued to flourish having been adopted by the mainstream music industry in 2010 with Cee-Lo Green's 'Forget you'.
It's become one of the essential ingredients in how to make a great music video and excellent way to make your video more compelling and promote your band.
With it's recent addition of Closed Captioning, it is easier than ever to create your own lyrics video on YouTube.
However for a more bespoke touch with a choice of typeface and animated style, you still can't beat the Adobe Creative Cloud professional. The stills above are from a video for 'Soul Funk Secret' entitled 'Sympathy' which is due for release on 26 August 2017 and was produced by 'the hook' using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
As the lyrics are animated to follow the rhythm of the vocal, the production was time consuming and added a couple of days work to the final edit, however the final cost was a still a fraction of how much a video production usually costs.
As ever with projects such as these a tight brief and project plan can help keep costs to a minimum.
