Hard Truths

The exhibition that I filmed yesterday at Sotheby's was entitled 'Hard Truths' and featured the work of five photographers who are funded by the New York Times, with works that ranged from the ousting of ISIS from Mosul, the consequences of sanctions on Iran, Riots and hunger in Venezuela, Cuba mourning the passing of Castro and extra-judicial killings in the Philippines. Over the course of the exhibition, each of the photographers delivered a short presentation on the challenges that they faced in capturing these breathtaking sometimes harrowing images. Unfortunately the exhibition closed yesterday so you won't be able to attend, but do look out for more of the same as I'm sure the New York Times will curating more exhibitions in the future.
