The Brady lecture 2018 at the Goethe Institut, London is an annual event in which an important cultural figure with dual heritage is asked to deliver a lecture.
Brendan Simms is Professor of History of International Relations at the University of Cambridge and delivered his lecture on "England and Germany in the age of schisms" drawing interesting comparisons with the English Church's split with Rome during Henry VIII's reformation and the current Brexit situation.
